A real good thing that moisture was delayed b/c that meant you had some time to cool down sufficiently at the surface and higher up in the lowest 3km of the atmosphere to allow more sleet and snow ... instead of ZR.
Based on radar trends ... QPF liquid should range from .33"-.50", most of this in Raleigh should be primarily sleet and some snow....

I didn't get any thunderstorms, but HurricaneGirl got a doozy from the squall line earlier ... she said she got into some heavy thunderstorms, but nothing severe...She picked up almost 2" of rain ...
