WW = weather watch. Probably a severe thunderstorm watch.

Please don't wobble east and hit Decatur!!! (population 80,000)

One city is too much! Two could be devastating! (That same tornado would also approach Champaign-Urbana, population 110,000)

boy I hope its not a tornado watch...I doubt it would be anyway...it appears the conditions arent as favorable for any tornadoes to pop up with any storms that form (thank god! Its scary enuf seeing funnel clouds, even tho it is pretty cool, as long as it doesnt touch down)

I posted way too soon. A severe thunderstorm warning was just posted for my county. One to two-inch hail in Lee's Summit MO.

That's called METAR code. Google it up.

Essentially, it says at Whiteman AFB, on the 13th at 0251Z, the winds were 300° at 39KT gusting to 52KT. The visibility was 1/4mi with a tornado. Tornado began 50 past the hour and was 2 miles west of the station.

Would that be referring to the one in northern Pettis right now, because that one is looking very strong. Or where is Whiteman?
