I don't Like Florida that much either, (the cost of Living is higher here than it was up there for someone in my income bracket) although it’s not so bad since im beachside along A1A. My wife likes it here though, so I doubt ill be going anywhere anytime soon.

Personally, I would much rather be back in the NY/NJ area which is where I was Born and Raised. Florida is too warm for my liking and Im not sure if I can take another snowless winter down here. LOL

Florida's definitely a hard place to live for a snowlover, but I'll work on conjuring up a nice deep low 200 miles off the Florida East Coast riding north-northeast with strong wraparound and throw in some CSI along the deformation band ... ok, I'm really reaching on this ...

SF

Or we could just station the PV over North carolina for the month of JAN. LOL

But hey I could deal w/ a 977mb Bomb off of JAX. :P

that would give me some nice wrap around snows, and would probably put you in the deformation zone.

Alright folks, we are experiencing January weather in Woodbridge, VA today with a high of 47 degrees and a dewpoint in the upper teens. Not exactly OBX weather, but I am beginning to feel the call of Winter, yeah old Arctic Jeb is back.

All I can say is, BRING IT!!! BRING IT!!!

I could take a deep 968mb low off the FL coast that moves up the East Coast with a monster 1077mb frigid Arctic High over Quebec and 3-foot snows from Jacksonville FL clear to Presque Isle Maine as the storm takes 11 days to move all the way up the East Coast.

Hey I need to write another blockbuster fantasy blizzard sometime lol.......................

-Arctic JEB!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH BRING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I also lived in Germany years ago (Heidelberg). We drove down to Ramstein all the time, mainly to try and catch AMC hops to the states. Ramstein was a nice area; very beautiful there...

Even though I am back in Winter Mode folks, I have to admit, I am building an online storefront at the same time. Building this online storefront involves an EXTREMELY STEEP learning curve!! This is a REAL-WORLD application and it's taking nearly everything I have.

Because of this it is entirely possible that when we get the BIG DOG snow and cold in N VA, good 'ole Jeb may not be able to post a decent Woodbridge, Va Storm Thread, but rest assured, I will be enjoying the snow!!!

All I can say folks, is BRING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRING IT!!!!!!!!!!! :)

-Arctic JEB!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Its my opinion that alot of forecast (myself included) from the last month or so for the second half of this month seem to be in trouble. ESPECIALLY in the Lakes/Midwest/OV. Its the 11th and natta and looking at the next week or 2 doesnt look that great either for any kind of winter action.
