Whoa - did ya'll see this? http://www.myfoxtampabay.com/myfox/page ... geId=3.1.1

I was watching the news (they had a better pic from the air) and they showed this house in Spring Hill that now has a detached garage courtesy of the weather yesterday. Big white oak right through their house. Said it will take 6 months to repair the house.

.DISCUSSION...A MID/UPPER RIDGE BUILDING OVER THE GULF AND GULF
COAST WILL KEEP TODAY WARM DRY AND STABLE. A 1027 HPA SURFACE
HIGH CENTERED FROM AROUND LAKE ONTARIO TO VA...BRIDGING A DECAYING
FRONTAL BOUNDARY OVER THE SE COAST...WILL PROVIDE EASTERLY WINDS WHICH
WILL TAP ENOUGH MOISTURE FOR A FEW LOW CLOUDS. MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES
TO RULE. THE CURRENT GRIDS AND FORECASTS ARE PERFECT AND WILL NOT
MESS THEM UP.

We could see some thunderstorms tuesday afternoon. I don't know about
the severe threat because a discussion this morning said the most energy
dynamics for severe weather would move north of our area. Looks like
North Florida and Georgia have the highest risk of severe weather
on tuesday; with thunderstorms possible for the rest of the florida
peninsula. Then a low pressure area forms in the gulf by thursday night/friday
and brings rain late thursday evening into the overnight. That could
be interesting. Will keep watching.

This year has been more like an el nino with so many thunderstorms
with fronts as opposed to la nina.

75 here with a constant breeze, tomorrow will be 76/77 (my perfect temperature) and 10-15 mph wind. Very perfect day in store for tomorrow.

Miami missed a record warm February by a 1/2 degree because of the cool down at the end of the month. The mean was around 74.5 degrees. 1959 stands as the record.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are about 5-8 hours away
from florida's west coast. The gulf infrared shows a line of
strong to severe storms moving towards the florida
peninsula.

Looks like the line in the gulf is extending SE. It looks like the main impact is going to be near Lake O.
