Where's spring?

#1 Postby Scott Patterson » Sun Mar 23, 2008 5:47 pm

0 degrees this morning and we're still buried in snow. At least there's a patch of grass finally showing. Who else is wishing for spring?

My garden is growing. Potatos, tomatos, onions, squash, lettuce, peppers. It dropped all the way down to 41F this morning. :ggreen:

We've had lows in the upper 30's to the 40's the past few days, but have warmed up into the 60's during the day. This was after a cold front, so it was warmer than that last week. We've had quite a few beautiful days recently... that's so nice to say, for a change. We're expected to reach 80F again later this week. I think spring has sprung in the deep south.

Maybe spring is coming. Tommorow is supposed to be the warmest day of the year so far (52F):

I just visited Colorado 2 weeks ago in Aspen- temperatures were
in the mid 20s during the day with heavy snow; night lows were down
to 10-15 degrees fahrenheit!!!!!

We've been running about 5 degrees below average for about a week now. I'm not going to complain yet because we could still get lows in the single digits, and for the year to date, we're running about 2 degrees above normal.

Hopefully things will be turning around shortly.

Would be nice for a while. Last time we went to FL it was 23F in Orlando! I guess we brought it with us, so it might follow us down.

Anyway next month I'm headed for AZ for almost two weeks, but by then it might be really hot!

Looks to be improving around here too:
