Heat Wave continues for North Texas

#1 Postby CaptinCrunch » Mon Aug 04, 2008 4:27 pm

The heat wave of 2008 continues on with today being the 10th straight day of 100+ degree temps, and the 16th day of the last 17 of 100+ degree temps. To get an idea of just how hot this summer has been across NTX there have been ONLY 2 days of 80 degree weather since May 19, 2008 (May 27th, 84 degrees and June 17th, 88 degrees) the rest have been of 92+ degrees. So far this summer as of Aug 4th we have recorded 25 days of 100+ degree weather, which make this summer so far the hottest since 1998.

Hottest day so far Aug 3rd with 107 degrees.
