Day to day tornadoes in May

May historically has been the most active month for tornadoes in the United States, and that trend continues.

It has been extremely active thus far, with tornadoes reported each day since April 25th.

Last year, there were over 800 tornadoes in a seven-week period from April 28 to June 13.
