Texas Drought Discussion

#1 Postby natlib » Tue May 31, 2011 2:44 pm

I'm starting this thread to get some input from some weather experts on any upcoming events that might help relieve the extreme drought in Texas.

San Angelo and the West Texas area are in terrible shape. People are already giving up on their yards. But the drought is far reaching. I passed by Lake Travis in Austin last weekend, and its sad to see the lake dry and boat docks resting on dry earth.

Is it going to take a hurricane or two to get us some relief???

Also, it's not just texas in the drought. Many southern states are experiencing severe drought also.
