Northern lights in Dallas Texas!
The strange red glow I saw last night in Dallas Texas ended up being the Aurora Borealis!

Re: Northern lights in Dallas Texas!
Which part of Dallas were you at and which portion of the sky did you see it? We're on the north end of Frisco and headed north away from the city lights when we first heard the reports of the northern lights sightings w/ the kids, but we never saw anything. This wasn't until around 9:30pm or so, I think we were too late and missed it.

I live in Lucas so its nice and dark to the northeast where I saw it. It was around 9:30 and was faded and gone by 10 PM or so.

How cool is that? I don't think I've ever seen them myself up here. Maybe someday. What a treat for you though!
