indeed... for Tampa in particular, temps have been as warm as 83F on Christmas Eve as the recent past as just in 2008 and 2006... those were the warmest Dec 24s in 22 and 24 years respectively.

For Christmas Day, the record high for Tampa is 83F set in 1984...and before that 1942 and 1911.
While it should saty a tad below that record... needless to say it will be a toasty Christmas for most of Florida... the envy of many.
