Rain in the TN Valley - finally!!!
It's been raining here for the past few hours!
It's definitely well-needed, as, things were
getting dreadfully dry.

bkhusky2, I hope you're getting a much-needed soaker, too.
Looks like our heaviest rain has yet to reach here from
Florence, AL.

It is raining here, too. We have received about an inch. With more still to come we should get that at least.

Yeah, it's punching toward you, Colin. Such a
delightful rain, indeed! Steph, if Isabel had
come onshore in SC, there would
have been a greater chance for the TN Valley area
getting rain from it. As it stands, the NC landfall
pushed the rain farther north...oh, well...better
luck, next time!

The areas just to my west have had rain.. hey actually in all the points of the compass... except here over my house:(
A few months earlier in the summer, I swear that the storms were hitting every single street in my county and surrounding counties except for mine! I looked at storm totals and even saw a tiny dot where I figured my house must be because it was the only spot where there was very little accumulation. I watched the rain dance around on me radar...it was really quite comical.....though frustrating.
