Checking out for now. I'm heading home from work and, depending upon how things are, I'll check in later and on through the night.

Til then, take care, everybody! :)

I am still at work - what's new. I will be heading out in about 30 mins. = flooding rains - so I am prepared to take extra time to get home.

I'll check in once I get home if I can.

I am home and safe for now. My normal 20 minute commmute took 45 minutes. Still no water in the house!! We have had 6.75" of rain since noon today at my house!!!! Still waiting to hear from our daughter who is not home yet and has not called. She knows not to go into high water, but we have also been having flash flooding all over the city. Of course now we have a squall line to our west that is building and due in here around 10pm.. Just what we need!!

Check In Time

#13 Postby KatDaddy » Mon Nov 17, 2003 9:19 pm

Only 2" of rain down here in League City. All the dangerous weather and flooding has been across Wharton, Fort Bend, Harris, Montgomery, and Liberty Counites.

The most flooding I have seen since Allison in town. Katy Freeway, 59, and 288 flooded again.

Signing off now for the rest of the night. Going to watch CSI: Miami and try to get a good night's sleep...unless one or both of those long lines of storm activity has something else planned. :o

Take care, everyone! :)

Our daughter is home safe after 2.5 hours on the road. Not a happy camper to say the least!!! I'll keep updating as possible. More moving in from the west about 15 miles to my west now.
