Severe tstm watch #16

The storm prediction center in Norman, OK has issued a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for this Monday afternoon and evening from 3:45 PM CST until 8 PM CST. This severe thunderstorm watch includes the following areas.

Norther Indiana
Southwest Lower Michigan
southern Lake Michigan east of Chicago

Hail to 2 inches in diameter, thunderstorm wind gusts to 70 mph, and dangerous lightning are possible in these areas. A Severe thunderstorm watch means severe thunderstorms are possible in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.
