THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN ANGELO HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
THROCKMORTON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL TEXAS
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF THROCKMORTON

* UNTIL 100 PM CST

* AT 1202 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE HURRICANE
FORCE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 80 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 29 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF THROCKMORTON...OR ABOUT 16 MILES EAST OF STAMFORD
...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 55 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
THROCKMORTON BY 1230 PM CST

A TORNADO WATCH ALSO REMAINS IN EFFECT. TORNADOES MAY FORM WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.

:eek: :eek: :eek: You know having 80 mph winds is destructive enough. Just add into the equation fast movement of 55 to 60 mph or more, and people in its path have problems. :eek:

MILES SOUTHWEST OF METCALF GAP...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 65 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
METCALF GAP...BRAD AROUND 125 PM CST

DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH AND NICKEL SIZED HAIL ARE LIKELY
