The Mid 80s for North Texas

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Thu Mar 18, 2004 11:32 am

The Dallas/Ft. Worth area had reached the 80s, Irving reached 82 yesterday. Granbury was the warmest city with 85*F.

Will we do it again today? The temp is already 72*F.

like is the warm temps will flucuate some, but it will remain warm for the short term. The only question is, how far south the Canadian High Pressure gets over the weekend. Some of the models drop the cold temps as far south as Nebraska, and the warmer temps remain across the south, and real warm for the Southwest!

We're 78 right now at 1pm, we could hit 80 later today for what I believe would be the first time this year.

Spring unscathed!!
It will be warm all along the Gulf Coastal States. But there is a cool front coming, but there doesn't seem to be much moisture associated with it as it drops south and reinforces high pressure and warm temps from Texas east through Florida!

I heard yesterday that this cold front is expected to stay north of Florida.
