Nothing very unusual expected this spring in the US as long as the neutral conditions at the equatorial pacific continue for the next few months with no el nino or la nina in the near future.

Yes in terms of the hurricane season it will be interesting to see if changes from neutral come and affect the ladder part of the season.

That is for sure! If my memory serves me right, there might have been one or two severe weather episodes over the southern plains thus far. I hope this spring does not go the way of '02 and '03, where even rain showers were a commodity.
