SVR WX potential Mid-MO Valley Next Few Days...

#1 Postby Guest » Wed Mar 24, 2004 9:46 am

It looks like some active weather might be in offing for my area as we end the week and go into the weekend.

Today, my area has a CONDITIONAL chance of isolated severe. CONDITIONAL meaning the jury is still out on whether storms will form due to a good size cap. Instability becomes greater than predicted, they may have to upgrade to slight risk.

THursday, a slight risk pretty much takes the central plains from southern MInnesota into TExas.

Friday, looks to be very interesting, particularly over western portions of Nebraska and Kansas. WInd shear and projected instabilities may be enough for isolated tornadoes.

Chances of storms continue through the weekend.
