The contest is simple... get the most points between the dates listed above and you win..HOW YOU ASK well you will just have to Click ME to find out the details as well as what you can win 8-) .

This will be great fun as well as a great learning experience  WxChat.com now has 4 NWS/xNWS Meteorologist on the site that are more than happy to help you with your questions.

It does take time to know what and how to do it.

What else can I say?    :(    :)    :(

I welcome you all and hope that the turn out is better than it has been thusfar.

What do you want to learn and I will show you personally :) There is no need to belly ache about it my friend... just tell us what you need to know in order to try this out..or be ready for next years competition.

Aaron, I only posted about it here once. Two different board, different members. My apologizes for feeling like posting something you already heard about.

Of course, I don't want to belly ache. You already posted the directions (at least once) and I am not sure what to do. It seems that I am not the only one not sure what to do after the explanation. Most posters here unfortunately access the off topic forum more than the weather related ones.

Let me try.

Tom, your trying to be as close to a severe event as possible. You pick a city and move from there as you feel needed, but you can move only until 3:00PM EST.

So, Tonight I would start at Topeka. Tomorrow morning, I would move west to more favorable conditions (or which ever way) in Dodge City. Then before 2PM CST i'll move into SW NE and thats about it.

Sure, I have the right idea about it, David. The concept of the "Chase" is great, but there is something about it that is keeping me from wanting to take part in it.

I am not usually online during the mid-morning to Noon/very early afternoon hours.
