First Severe T-storm warning for my area of the year

#1 Postby stormraiser » Sun Apr 18, 2004 9:15 am

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues until 1130 am EDT for Erie
and Niagara counties...

At 1100 am EDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
line of severe thunderstorms pushing across western parts of Niagara
County and northern Erie County extending from 10 miles northeast of
Youngstown to near tonowanda. Public has reported trees down with
nickel sized hail and local power outages. The storms are moving east
at 40 miles an hour.

It is north of my area, but still, it's the first of the year.
