Where in PA are you again? Most areas of SE PA are between 83°F and 87°F with a HIX at or lower than the air temp. What was your DP?

Last night's ECMWF brought a maxima of h85 temperatures near 15ºC right around IAD by next weekend ... with full downslope component, and not surprising for the wide range of temperatures that can be experienced in the month of April ...

Amazing what a little ridging, and westerly downsloping winds off the Appalachains can do this time of year.

I made it to 82F here in the thumb of michigan today. That is also my current temp. It should be a very mild night tonight with lows in the 60s. I was ready for spring since I had a decent winter but I'm definitely more of a cool/cold weather fan than warm weather fan, so this 82 right now has me sweating. I had severe t-storms here early this morning. Many buildings are completely destroyed in a localized area of the county. NWS is sending a team out here to check it out. I wasn't sure if the warm front was going to make it through today. At 1PM it was still only 61 here with a SE wind but once the warm front came through and the wind turned SW, wow, the temp just jumped rapidly into the 80s.

Roardog ... those same storms further downstream produced an 86 MPH wind gust at Niagara Falls, NY earlier today ... AND you've got another huge area explosively developing back in MN, WI right now, with a very large and pronounced supercell in WI right now (within that PDS Tornado Watch back to your west) ... just a heads up ... looks like another very active evening and nighttime up that way ...

Sounds awefully hot for so early in the year in New England-we only reached 81 here. I am in no hurry to feel temps in the 90+ so yall can have it. However, we kinda need some hot weather soon to start the rainy season as its dry and getting drier-seems to be the only way we get any appreciable rainfall anymore is in the summertime.

I'd say it was perfect weather here today. Very LOW humidity and temps in the 80's. I can't believe that I wore shorts all weekend! :D

I hope that everyone affected by today's storms to the north is okay!

Wow come down to south Louisiana to cool off guys! It only reached 79 here with sunny skies and a fresh breeze from the south. Warmest it's been all year is 85, can't believe places in Virginia and Pennsylvania beat us to 90  .

I still haven't found another obs of 90°F in PA. RIC was 90°F yesterday, and ORF hit 88°F. PHL hit 85°F, HAR was 84°F, and ABE made it to 82°F.... and Ashley hit 90°F?? :?:
