SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK
631 PM CDT TUE APR 20 2004

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
TULSA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA

* UNTIL 730 PM CDT

* AT 631 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 21
MILES WEST OF SAND SPRINGS...MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.

* SOME LOCATIONS NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE...TULSA...SAND
SPRINGS AND OWASSO.

HAIL TO THE SIZE OF NICKELS AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED
IN THE WARNED AREA. STAY INDOORS AND AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE
STORM HAS PASSED.

658 PM CDT TUE APR 20 2004

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING CONTINUES FOR TULSA COUNTY UNTIL 730
PM CDT...

AT 658 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 8 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF SAND SPRINGS...MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. THIS STORM HAS A
HISTORY OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZED HAIL IN CREEK COUNTY.

GRAY...TULSA AND SAND SPRINGS ARE NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM.

Doppler radar indicates tornadic thunderstorm, which has had a confirmed tornado west of Tulsa, OK. Tornadoes are likely with this supercell thunderstorm in the Tulsa area.
