Round 3 possible for PA region tonight

#1 Postby tomboudreau » Sat May 08, 2004 8:23 pm

As I write this, another strong to severe line of storms is beginning to have show its effects on the Western half of PA. There had been 2 counties under a severe thunderstorm warnings as these storms are developing. The line of storms is moving to the southeast at 20 miles per hour. According to the latest outlook from SPC, storms are expected to continue over night. They have even mentioned the chance of an isolated tornado or two. It could be a wild and wully evening around these parts. Here is the current radar from Pittsburgh...

I will have more updates as the evening progesses...and if things get closer, my wife and I might jump into the old car and do some chasing this evening. Just depends if things get as bad as they say it could.

I really hope it doesn't come in here overnight...that's the last thing I need. I was actually hoping for a GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP. Oh yeah, severe thunderstorms at 3 AM are always welcome. :D
