Summer Pattern continues over Middle Atlantic/Northeast

#1 Postby Colin » Wed May 12, 2004 12:16 pm

Unseasonably hot and humid temperatures and pop-up showers and thunderstorms will continue for the next few days...a small break in the t-storms tomorrow and Friday, before they return for the weekend. High temperatures near 90 and potentially even 95 this afternoon as full sun has prevailed...also increases the chance for t-storms.

Flooding is a big concern over NE PA and N NJ as showers and thunderstorms are developing yet again and moving very slowly! Flooding is not so much of a concern over East-Central PA and Southeast PA as they have been spared the last few days.

It is 84°F right now at 1:15 PM...will not be surprised to hit 88 or 89 later this afternoon.
