Tornadic prayer :)

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Sun May 30, 2004 10:14 pm

Father...

As I and the rest of S2K comes before you tonight.. We ask you to watch over those being pelted by these life threatening storms. We ask to you to keep all the S2K members safe, as well as their neighbors, friends, and families.

For the already heavily damaged areas.. we ask you to help the victims' emotional and physical wounds heal. We ask you to protect them and the rest of the region through the severe weather season..

I ask these things in your name, Jesus..

AMEN :)

Feel free to add if you'd like guys.. :)

In Your Name Jesus, I release my faith to you, that you will decrease this severe outbreak, but that you will give the Eastern areas that are very dry like where I live lots of rain. My lawn is turning brown, and I need the grass to keep on growing so I can cut lawns.

Plus, I ask that You help the people that have been impacted by these terrible storms to recover from them. Please release all the goodness inherent in the American people to those in need, especially our elderly citizens who have lost their homes to the tornadoes and floods. Please provide new homes and good friends to those precious elderly folks, because I do not want them to have to go to nursing homes. When they were young, they worked hard and now, these are their precious golden years. Please help us to help them and to be their best friend in their greatest time of need. Please release the kindness that You originally placed in the American people's hearts, to give to all those poor storm victims and to help them out and just be their friend. Because it's the right thing to do and, in helping those folks, we will find ourselves and because helping others is one of the things You are all about.

Amen
