There is talk from spc also that there may be another severe thunderstorm watch that may have to be issued over the next few hours for parts of the middle Alantic and the Northeast.Even those the cold front has passed last night. the closed upper low in the great lakes and comboned with upper air systems and cold air aloft and with heating of this afternoon and late morning will likey form thunderstorms this afternoon which some could turn strong to severe with the biggest threats likey to be hail due to the very cold air aloft and strong gustey winds.

P.S severe thunderstorm watch has just been iussed for Parts of the Middle Alantic and the Northeast until 6:00 pm this evening.

We had a similar line blow through yesterday afternoon in Gulf Shores. As it approached we saw a low hanging area of clouds rotating. It never formed a twister, but when it got right over us, it blew our weather station off of our roof. That was a drag too, because we really wanted to see what the peak gust was.
