It seems like the east coast is the only area having "normal" weather.

Basically yeah. Lakes, Northern plains have been cooler then normal. OV, TX/LA have been very wet and the west (Especially intermountain and sw) very dry as has been a few areas in the se. And ofcourse as i mentioned already AK has been much above normal and dry.

Also besides above normal rainfall we've been below average tempwise for the last week! Yesterday was the only day of the last 6 that has been above average with an 86° reading!

If you can believe it, we ONLY hit 74° today! Where's the heat??? Not here, but WAY off to the south and SW (S GA, FL, parts of the SW)!
