Wet,wet,wet!!

#1 Postby wx247 » Thu Jul 01, 2004 8:52 am

After a relatively dry first twenty six days of the month, the last couple of days of June and now the first part of July looks to be really really wet.

Since Tuesday, June 29th until 9 a.m. this morning: 2.70" of rain. Much more is on the way.

I hope we don't get as much as you did. :)

Glad though that it is drying out for you.

Tell me about it! Any little rainfall will be placed on top of already flooded streams and rivers, this area DOES NOT need anymore rain! The rivers are many feet over flood stage.

Well, I hate to say it, but I had a brief pop up storm a little while ago... In the middle of finally cutting the lawn... Didnt get too much rain, just enough to make it like a sauna out!!

I am seriously thinking about investing in a boat...
...just tie it up in the back, and, jump in when the
water gets up to the house! Crikies, mate!
She's a wet one, she is!

More rain this morning. I will check the rain gauge and update the totals if it ever ends. ;)
