It's another HOT week.

This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high around 94. Heat index values as high as 97. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 72. East wind around 5 mph becoming south.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 97. Heat index values as high as 104. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low near 76. South wind around 10 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 98. South wind between 5 and 15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 76. South wind between 5 and 15 mph.

Thursday: Partly cloudy, with a high around 98. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 76. South southwest wind between 10 and 15 mph.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 95. Southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

It's a hot one up here too, temps in the low 90s. Dewpoints around 70, giving us heat indicies around 105 degrees, in IOWA!!!! That is just not right, haha.

We're looking at perhaps our hottest temps of the summer with 110+ over the next three days. We were at 112 about a week ago. Typically top out above 115 at least once each summer.
