Well summer really hasn't came to most places. There has been days where it has been summer, and there has been 4 or 5 days where it seems like the good ole dog days. But they haven't really held on, it seems that once they get going, and arctic cold front comes through and ends it. I would be hoping summer can make a return to the area. Many forecasts have a gradual warm up, but nothing like the dog days should be like.

We've had an unusual summer here in KC.

i hear ya....I'm really worried about getting some crops out of my garden before an arctic blast takes it all out...i'm wondering "IF" and when Frances heads up the east coast, will she pull a big cold high down? I see tonite there calling for 45 locally (way below normal!) again...later

I am already down to 50 degrees here, with nice clear crisp skies. I'm thinking we might get down to the lower 40's, but most likely only the mids.
