Heavy rains soak Northwest Iowa

#1 Postby NWIASpotter » Sat Sep 25, 2004 12:13 pm

Over the last 2 weeks nearly a foot or more of rain has fell in areas of Northwest Iowa, leading to flooding of a couple of rivers, as well as many rural roads. My rainfall through the last 2 weeks has been 12.35 inches, with a total of 12.96 inches of rain so far this month. Spencer, Ia has recorded 14.35 inches of rain so far this month, shattering the September record as well as the all time record for most rainfal in a month.
