Weather getting bad here...

The wind is blowing hard! Weather alert has been going off with severe thunderstorm warnings and a tornado warning to my north.

Weatherbug shows 47mph gust so far, just a few miles from me.

Thats what we saw here Friday night, it felt like a TS :)

I got very heavy downpours Saturday night in two strong cells within a large thunderstorm complex which dumped 1.80" ...

I saved this image with GRW88Level3 Radar software at 4:50 pm with SE TX and SW LA basically littered with cells capable of producing hail along with several MESO's and 3DC shrs ...

We're finally getting a good soaking but getting home was a MESS! Wonder if these storms are just a precursor to the heavy rains to come later in the week? Are we gonna go from drought to flood as what usually seems to happen around here???

We had heavy rain Sat nite with the storms that cme thru. Tonite, we had all kinds of severe weather warnings but the sytem scooted riight around where we are in Austin. But I know more is on the way...

We had 3" Sat nite.
