Synopsis For Eastern NE

#1 Postby weatherwunder » Sun Apr 27, 2003 8:53 am

Finally the word thunderstorms in the forecast

Synopsis-
southerly flow in place over the area ahead of a potent upper wave
ejecting eastward along the Canadian border. So far...this has only
produced convection across the Dakotas...with not much further
south. This wave is pushing a surface boundary southeast...which will
likely be the focus for thunderstorms and rain later today closer to eastern Nebraska
and western Iowa.
