Flash Flood in Lake Havasu City, AZ 11-8

#1 Postby riverratmike » Tue Nov 09, 2004 3:47 am

This afternoon around 2pm MST I very powerful storm hit my area. Lightning and thunder and tons and tons of rain. I recoreded 0.83 inches in under 45 min. In less than two days I have recorded 2.46 inches of rain. Not bad numbers for the desert. Here are some photos I took.

Its always amazed me how fast the desert floods when there's rain....looks like that system actually hit someone in the Southwest....we hardly got anything here in Los Angeles.
