#1 Postby KatDaddy » Wed Nov 17, 2004 3:05 pm

Big time rains moving into SE TX today AND next week looks to be very wet according to the HPC. This will become a serious situation with all current rainfall occurring. Cuold be major river flooding by the middle of next week.

SOUTH CENTRAL...
BIG NEWS THIS PD WILL BE GRADUAL INVASION OF CP AIR DOWN ERN
SLOPES OF ROCKIES INTERACTING WITH SURGE OF GULF MOISTURE IN
RESPONSE TO CLOSED LOW OVER SOUTHWEST. AREA OF RAIN AND SNOW WILL
WORK ITS WAY DOWN THE HIGH PLAINS DAYS 5-7...WITH SUBSTANTIAL SNOW
POSSIBLE FOR A SECOND TIME THIS MONTH OVER WRN TX BY DAY 7. GULF
SURGE IN BACKING FLOW WILL ALSO ACTIVATE OVERRUNNING RAINS OVER
NWRN GULF COAST DAY 7...WITH DYNAMICS SUGGESTING A REAL DOUSING.

3.08" here at the house in Spring Branch area.

Looks like a downburst or possibly straight line winds in Tomball(some witnesses say a tornado) with huge oak trees down-one into a house.

Slight chance of strong to severe storms on Friday. It looks to be wet all the way into mid next week.
