I hope Orange County CA is still there Next Week

Flying into LA for week Sunday. I will be in Orange County....Hunting Beach, Laguna Beach, and Irvine.

I know this is off-topic but any tips on things to do??

Hey KatDaddy! You're going to be close to me! :O) Welcome to the jungle...or should I say "rain forest"...I hope these storms have cleared out by the time you get here, otherwisw you'll be arriving in the middle of total chaos...the roads are horrid and basically at a standstill when it rains...

Are you staying in Huntington Bch? Laguna is my fav. bch in So Ca...make sure you park and walk along the ocean walkand then down the cliff to the rocks and along the little tidal pools between the rocks you'll see cool sea life...definitely bring a cam...its gorgeous..paradise...

Disneyland is in Anaheim, in OC and always fun, but very wet lately...

What are your intrests and I'll try to point you in the right direction...

I live in that area, I am right by Huntington Beach (about 3-4 miles from it to be exact). Maybe you and I can say hi to each other.

Yes I have heard about the big storm that is supposed to be coming in by Sunday or Monday. Not what we need out here right now that is for sure...

Definitely check out Disneyland. It's on the same street that I live by (but at the other end of course... ). Also check out Knott's Berry Farm, which is in Buena Park. Not too far off by the way.

Oh...and if you are interested in ships, The Queen Mary in Long Beach is really cool. Its 10.00 to park, but you can self guide yourself around the ship for free, visit the many restaraunts and bars, shops etc...it is definitely somthing to see! My husband and I are staying the night there the night before our cruise leaves next month....

and of course you can always come visit us in the Temecula wine country...every morning there are hot air balloons flying overhead, and many many vineyards are open for tasting...some great places for lunch at some of the vineyards as well...

I will be Irvine at Wonderware all week.....Tech Support Symposium and Beta Training on SCADA software products. During the evenings we will be making the most out of it by enjoying S CA nightlife. One of our Sales Rep has a place in Laguna Beach. I forget the hotel we are staying at but its a 5 star in Newport Beach. It should be a great time overall. I'll post the hotel name once I check my work email.
