Needed rain falls in parts of Florida Penninsula

Good news for that state as the fires haved been increasing with time as the dry spell has been prolonged but this respite from that helps to diminuish the danger however to have an end to the dry period it has to rain a whole more lot.

Woke up to thunder down here in SW Florida. We had some good rains over the last few hours.. Looks like the east coast will get into the juice as well. Cetainly from WPB north looks wet. 8-)

Might we get some storminess down here in south FL from that low trying to form in the Gulf? It looks like it's going to track further south than last week's. Were it to occur, that would be an impressive moisture return, considering yesterday's red flag warnings.
