New this year is the first TESSA Super Storm Spotter Session, which will provide the highest level of training available to storm spotters anywhere in the country. The session will be presented by Ft. Worth NWS Warning Coordination Meteorologist Gary Woodall. Mr. Woodall's presentation is titled, "Visual, Environmental, and Radar Characteristics of Severe Storms." The environmental ingredients required for severe storms and methods for spotters to identify the presence of these ingredients will be discussed

The Art and Science of hand analysis for Tornado Forecasting. Allen participated in the first official chase program, the 1972 Tornado Intercept Project (TIP). Also to his credits are the 1985 FSL forecast experiment, 1986 National microburst symposium, 1991 Tornado Symposium, 1995 VORTEX project.
Louis Wicker - National Severe Storms Laboratory, Norman OK.
The Role of Technology in Storm science, Forecasts, and Warnings. His Ph.D research was one of the first computer simulations that simultaneously contained both the severe storm and the tornado. Louis also helped in the developments in the late 1980s such as Doppler Radar and rapid scan satellite, and also the improvement of storm forecast and warnings.
