WWL Meteorologist predicts slight chance for severe weather

David Bernard cautions Northshore and Southwest Mississippi for possible isolated tornadoes.

A tornado warning is in effect for Lafourche Parish, including the city of LaRose until 5:15 p.m.

A tornado warning has been issued for Jefferson Parish and Plaquemines Parish, including the town of Port Sulphur, until 5:30 p.m.

My parents live in that area. While they did not visual confirm a tornado or funnel cloud, Bollinger's Shipyard just south of Lockport, La. has sustained some damage. A local weather station down there did report a wind gust of 100mph.
