BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED
FLASH FLOOD WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TALLAHASSEE FL
432 PM EST TUE MAR 22 2005

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR A DAM FAILURE IN...
CENTRAL COLQUITT COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF MOULTRIE

* UNTIL 530 PM EST

* AT 432 PM EST...A LOCAL DAM 3 MILES EAST OF MOULTRIE NEAR SR 37
FAILED CAUSING FLASH FLOODING ACROSS SR 37.

* AFFECTED LOCATIONS SR37 3 MILES EAST OF MOULTRIE

SR 37 HAS BEEN REPORTED BY LOCAL SPOTTER AND SHERIFFS OFFICE COVERED
WITH WATER FROM THIS LOCAL DAM. AREAS DOWNSTREAM FROM THE DAM SHOULD
BE PREPARED FOR FLOODING. TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IMMEDIATELY.

PEOPLE BELOW THE DAM SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION BY MONITORING LOCAL
RADIO OR TELEVISION AND FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANY REQUIRED
EVACUATION AS OUTLINED BY LOCAL EMERGENCY OFFICIALS.
