Hey everyone. What an amazing difference in temperature in the Mid Atlantic region. For example here in north central Maryland a bay breeze actually set up. As a result temperatures as of mid afternoon were quite different from one place to the next.
Near the cooler waters of the Chesapeake Bay, temperatures are much cooler. Bay water temp is 47 degrees. With a southeast wind off the colder waters of the bay, it is 59 in Annapolis and 70 degrees at Martin State Airport in Middle River, MD. Meanwhile it is 83 at Dulles, 78 at Reagan National, 83 in Baltimore, and the big winner was 90 degrees in Fredrick, MD.
Fredricksburg, VA was 88
Norfolk, VA was 82 degrees
An absolutely gorgeous day today. If you folks have any obs from the Mid Atlantic from today and beyon post them here. A very interesting day temperature wise region wide.
