Situation tonight is very reminiscent of last weeks flooding rains that invaded the Panhandle. WEAR3 news out of Pensacola is reporting that a state of emergency has been declared for the city. Many major roads int he Fort Walton area are impassable. Already at least 5 inches of rain have fallen at Hurlbert Airfield. All since 6 oclock. We definantly did not need this!!

fwbbreeze,
Know the feeling, we got 6" today after all we got last Friday too...10.75 then...don't want any more. Our local met said their was a little bit organizing back over LA because the cold front hasn't come thru yet and we could possibly get more showers tonight...no thank you!

My little brother works at Hurlbert Field...hope he got home to Crestview before all that started today.

I live in P'cola and where I live..it rained to beat the band...it even hailed for a few seconds(whoppee!!). About a mile down the road from us, a tree fell on a house and about a half-mile from here, a slow draining flooded yard and house (from last weeks rains) undoubtably have more of a problem now. The lightning was ferocious too!!
Did I mention that we missed some good tv tonight because the power was off for 41/2 hours? Who got voted off of American Idol this week?
Nevermind, I just read that Nikko was voted off!!
