Unreal, WET, WET, WEEETTTT!
This has been, without a doubt, a STRANGE spring thus far.......I've NEVER seen it rain like it's been doing this time of year
Saturday night until yesterday afternoon 1600 hrs, I received over an 1" of rain, plus snow, sleet, hail.....to top it off, we had one HELLUVA thunder storm Saturday night, needless to say, we didn't get a lot of sleep that night, ya know, "Chicken Dogs!"
We had 3 big dogs in the middle of the bed due to the non stop thunder that night!!

Dontcha just love being a dog sandwich Dennis? Happens to us every time a far-off rumble is barely audible. Couple of 50-lb wuss dogs we have.
I should consider myself lucky that I only have a 22 lb Boston Terrier sandwiched between Marty & I!
Dennis - it sounds like the winter's weather trend is continuing right into spring for you.

And so it continues
Yeah Stephanie, the pattern is STILL holding!! Which BTW is GREAT.......before this last system blew through, the FIRE DANGER was at HIGH
YES....we had a TON of snow this winter but........the spring winds have been HOWLING and dried the forest floors out, in FACT, until last week, we had ALREADY had 3 minor wildland fires, a total of 2 acres each!!!!!

EPAC STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE STATE ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. FAVORABLE JET DYNAMICS...MODERATE DIVQ FORCING...MODERATE OROGRAPHICS...AND STEEP LAPSE RATES WILL COMBINE TO BRING A GOOD CHANCE OF PCPN TO THE AREA LATE THURSDAY THRU EARLY FRIDAY. HAVE INCREASED POPS INTO LIKELY CATEGORY FOR THE HIGHER TERRAIN WITH CHANCE POPS ELSEWHERE. SNOW LEVELS START AROUND 7500 FEET ON THURSDAY AND FALL TO AROUND 6500 FEET EARLY FRIDAY. EXPECT SOME ACCUMULATION OVERNIGHT THURSDAY. WINDS WILL ALSO BE A PROBLEM DURING THE DAY ON THURSDAY. CURRENT FCSTS SUGGEST WIND ADVISORY THRESHOLDS MAY BE MET. DYNAMICS SHIFT EASTWARD DURING THE DAY FRIDAY BUT ENOUGH INSTABILITY WILL REMAIN FOR A CONTINUATION OF SHOWERS THRU THE DAY. FAIR WEATHER ARRIVES ON SATURDAY. A WEAK S/W TROUGH WILL MOVE ACROSS THE STATE ON SUNDAY BRINGING ANOTHER CHANCE OF SHOWERS. DB
