Nasty Storms Last Night

#1 Postby simplykristi » Thu Jun 09, 2005 7:48 pm

Hi All,
We had nasty storms roll thru the metro KC area last night. We had straight line wind damage. Our winds were easily over hurricane force. We lost power at 9 PM last night and it was not restored until after 7 PM this evening. We had minimal damage here at the house. But some of our neighbors had tremedous tree damage. One of our neighbors had a walnut tree that was uprooted. It did not hit any houses. I will post pics after I charge the camera up.

Hi Kristi. Glad to see that you made it through the weather. We were talking about you over on Jsquared last night and I wondered if the storms had impacted you.

Glad the electricity is back on.
