It must be pretty bad when someone at CrisisAlert sends this out in an email:

A sudden rainstorm has dumped 2 inches of rain within a 3O min period today....widedspread flooding is occuring throuout the City with some power outages.....Emergency vehicles are having a difficult time getting through the area.......numerous T/A throughtout the City

This is nothing. I got 1.06" of rain in 5 minutes. No joke. Happened about two weeks ago with a freak thunderstorm, that has been my only rain for way over a month now.
