Aurora possibility?

#1 Postby weathermom » Wed Aug 24, 2005 8:33 am

Can someone tell me if this is an indication that we may be able to see an aurora at lower latitudes tonight? Is this level of activity supposed to keep up? Thanks!

They were seen in Colorado last night so I would imagine it may be possible in NJ tonight as well. Don't know enough about it though. Check out http://www.spaceweather.com as well.

Technically, this is a Space Weather related topic so it should be in Global Weather not here as per the Imperial Rescript.
