Monsoon Going Out in Style

#1 Postby Aslkahuna » Thu Sep 08, 2005 7:58 pm

Active days yesterday and today with considerable thunderstorm activity in SE AZ. Total rainfall for the past 2 days at the house is 0.76in which brings us to 11.05in of rain for the monsoon since it started on July 17th (since we had no rain in June) which is over the normal for monsoon rainfall for the first successful monsoon since 2000. More rain is likely tomorrow and possible on Saturday.

Yes indeedy......it's been pretty quite up here but looking at the WV it appears TOMORROW and tomorrow NIGHT, "Bar the door Katy!" It's been somewhat of a lackluster monsoon for us, not normal, but not too bad either, I tell ya ONE thing however, it's been the most HUMID summer I've seen in YEARS.......or could it be I'm getting OLDER!?

It was industrial grade muggy today before the boomers came through reminded me of a day in the alley before the storms come in. Dews down here have been on the high side this Summer down here.
