After getting about 3" yesterday, showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon, as the ULL moves into our area... and with the thunderstorms predicted to be slow moving, this is exactly what we DON'T need! :o It is possible that we may get another 1-2", potentially even more in some areas, and creeks around my area are reporting serious flooding! :o
We'll see what happens this afternoon!

It looks like the precipitation is pulling away to the north towards NY. We're just getting some drizzle here, though they do say we have a chance of thunderstorms later.
We're currently at 7.5" for the month of June - all time record is just over 10".
After this weekend we're heading right into summer - upper 80's and 90's all next week!

Rainfall yea, how much???
Looks like maybe .50 to .75 inch QPF over central MD and possibly into Philly as well. Hopefully more clouds will limit surface heating anf the shower potential as well. Lots of flooding recently. We'll be glad for a break after the weekend and summer weather all next week seems very likely.
