Oh Summer, Where Art Thou?

#1 Postby Swimdude » Fri Oct 07, 2005 7:24 pm

I'm a big fan of summer. Yesterday's high in Houston was a wonderful 92 degrees. Sunny skies. Oddly low humidity... It was gorgeous. Naturally, i've been watching this cold front approach with the rest of the nation for a week.

I woke up this morning to leave for school, and it was 59 degrees outside. I needed a sweater. But I refused. [I'm in denial.] The lows haven't been in the 50's since APRIL. How do I know? I'm a swim coach, and the temperatures are fairly comfortable for swimming even in May.

Tomorrow morning's low will be 54.

Unfortunately, i'll be out in those elements, as i'm taking the SAT [for the 2nd and LAST time] tomorrow morning.

I'm going to freeze to death.

Sincerely,

The True Houstonian.

Good luck on the SAT. I hope you do well. Don't let the cold get to you. :D

Good luck on the SAT! I have mine in a couple months...
I love the tropical airmass here with 80's. Anything below 65 F
is too cold for me :D, but highs in the 70s would feel really
nice.
