Toronto got its first rays of sunshine, albeit hazy sunshine, for the first time this afternoon, since last Sunday Oct 9... so we went 4 1/2 sunless days.
In Mid-October, thats kinda rare for such an extensive sunless period.

Wow, I was just getting ready to start a new post called "THE MOON" but this topic fills in nicely.

4.5 days HA! I haven't seen the sun since Oct 3, and there were flooding rains for the first 4-5 days of the sunless period.

However, I just went outside, and I saw the moon, full and bright. This leads me to believe that tomorrow I might see that bright yellow thing that other call the Sun and claim is in the sky.

 I so had my hopes up. I woke up this morning thinking the sun would be out and I could clean some of the mess out of the backyard.

:grr: Instead, I find clouds and, get this, RAIN again. I looked at the radar, NOTHING showing here, but still a steady light rain.

But, I will hope again.......

After all, tomorrow is another day!

Here at 5PM this evening, for the first time in over 9 days, the sun was trying to bust through a small patch of blue sky...it was an unbelievable sight.

Sun this morning. Also high wind. Now the sound of chainsaws is heard in the neighborhood. Haven't gone out to see what went down. Our trees are okay. But it is very, very windy...

last night I woke up at 4am at the song of very strong winds. I looked outside and was amazed at the brightness of the moon! this morning it has been on and off sun and clouds... mostly clouds... a bit of sun. It seriously looks so wierd because I have not seen the sun here for nine days!
