There's a wonderful storm going on! SE TX

#1 Postby Houstonia » Mon Oct 31, 2005 5:27 pm

Standing outside the doors at work right now - the sky was as black as night, the flags blowing at a full gale. A cold, cold rain is falling!! What a wonderful storm for a scary night!

Hopefully it will be all over for us NW Harris County folks by the time the trick-or-treaters finish their dinners.

It's a great storm to be outside in though!!

I'm hoping the line stays together long enough to give us a decent soaking around here. It's been very dry and dusty lately and we really haven't had a good rain since Rita.

We had a nice downpour up near Spring. Haven't checked guage yet but doppler shows between 1"-1.25". It was quite a light show, now getting pretty chilly outside.

We could really use some rain here in central NC, too...moderate drought going!
